We look forward to welcoming you to Caspar Bread and Wine in late winter/early spring, 2026. Sourdough bakery by morning, natural wine and local beer bar by evening, located in the historic Caspar Inn.

Our morning offerings include naturally leavened whole grain bread and seasonal pastry, baked daily, along with a pared back cafe menu, coffee and tea.  In the evenings, we serve a small menu of bar plates.  We carefully consider the systems constituent in food production, and thus we’re over the moon to bake with stone milled flour from the Mendocino Grain Project; an organization committed to investing in our regional grain economy.

Our beverage selection consists of local beers by draught and bottle, and all our wines are made exclusively by native yeast fermentation, without any additives, and without fining or filtering. Living wines made in the traditional way, featuring the best we can source from small artisan wineries both domestically and abroad. We have a rotating selection available by the glass, as well as a bottle shop you can browse for something to open here or to take away at retail price, which is available all day. To round things out we stock natural ciders by draught and bottle, local kombucha, and an assortment of other non-alcoholic options.

We’re guided by the belief that we have the collective right to nourishing and ethically-produced foods, and we couldn’t be more grateful to share our 20 plus years of experience pursuing this way of eating and drinking with the Coast.
